    *100 Hyacinthoides non-scripta Blue

Important!  This Hyacinthoides non-scripta flowerbulb is available for all english speaking beekeepers and gardeners. However, we have a request to inhabitants of the British continent:  though it is the smallflowered wild type, and not the large flower higher stem spanisch type, this hyacinthoides non-scripta white might affect your unique woodflower Bluebell. We feel a responsabitity and prefer to keep your plantlife pure and avoid mixing up the marvellous Bluebells by cross pollination with any other type than the original Bluebell.  Though the flower of the non-scripta very much looks like it, we advise not to plant this flowerbulb variety on the British continent and/ or specifically not in the neighbourhood of nature reserves.

Beekeepers know how important the very first pollen is for honey bees and their health. By planting generous flower bulbs you lay the best foundation for the good development of the nations. In this way they reach maturity early and are strong enough to pollinate the fruit and other crops when they bloom.

For beekeepers, and also very suitable for all neighbours with gardens and balconies who live around an apiary. In this way you contribute to biodiversity and the survival of honey bees. A beekeeper cannot do it alone, and pollination by bees is of great importance to all of us. Without the pollination of bees no apples, pears, nuts and many other tasty things .. And what's great, these flower bulbs also attract the cheerfully buzzing bumblebee queens and the first butterflies.

Plant protection products (poison) can move towards nectar and pollen from plants. That is why we opt for exclusively flower-free grown flower bulbs and also test these ourselves. All growers are SKAL certified and we look very specifically at the effects for the useful pollinators. They are sensitive to the smallest quantities. We only offer flower bulbs that we consider healthy for them. Read more about it? Look at Quality or Vision in the main menu.

Butterflies and bumblebee queens waking up from hibernation are looking for nectar in crocuses. There is not much flowering in January yet and you do them a great favor by planting crocuses in the fall for the earliest flowering in the new year. Crocuses have the highest nectar and pollen value and the other flower bulbs are also selected for this.
