April - May height 10" (25 cm)
This red botanical tulip opens when it is sunny and closes with clouds and in the evening. This medium-sized species has pollen but no nectar or attraction to bees. Because it is so lively and because of the bright color, it will be a jewel in your garden.
Tulipa linifolia flowers simultaneously with the grapes. Narcissus Thalia or Sailboat in between gives height. This red tulip can also be beautifully combined with striped squill (Puschkinia) or glory of the snow (Chionodoxa). A royal combination that fits very well at the end of April.
