March - April height 4"- 8" (15 cm) - 100 pieces
The wild tulip Tarda is the shortest of the botanical tulips, it stands firm with thick leaves. She has a lot of pollen, and even ants visit het because of the sweetness of the nectar.
The nice thing about flower bulbs early in the spring is that they attract all kinds of life and there is always something to discover. Also for children: precisely because they are so close by and clearly visible because of the bright colors.
Tulipa Tarda is the earliest of all botanical tulips and even the earliest flower bulb after the crocuses. In the transition to April bloomers such as grapes, the tarda is a bit indispensable actually.
Highly recommended for beekeepers, and for anyone who wants to lend a helping hand to bees and bumblebee queens in park and garden.
